Roatán has an international airport with nonstop flights from several US cities, so a reef chapter can follow a short city stay. Utila connects to the mainland by air and by ferry from La Ceiba.
Roatán is wettest from about October to January and drier from February to May, while Atlantic hurricane season runs June to November. Check the forecast before fixing island dates.
